Design
TBT can assist with product selection, and product integration into your design drawings.
Properly integrated and configured, advanced generator controllers and ancillary breaker controllers can replace PLC control of the power system. They can provides for redundant load-share (control) communications with broadcast messaging that eliminates a single point of failure of the communications master of a PLC control system.
Configuration
TBT can configure your generator controller and ATS controller products to achieve the required sequencing events.
The single line drawings below are examples of systems where sequencing control by PLC was replaced by sequencing control at the generator controller level.
The systems provide for:
split-bus operation when both utility feeders are available
switch to single-ended bus with tie closed when only one utility feed is available
generator start, sync, and close to provide for closed transfer to returning utility
generator starting and close to load buses with loss of both utilities
load dependent starting and stopping of generators is available
closed transfers back to utilities upon their return
storm anticipation mode to place power system on generators when utilities are expected to become unstable
system manual mode may be selected for operator control and inhibiting automatic operations
data may be shared with facility management systems via Modbus TCP/IP
some levels of remote control from the facility management system may be accomplished via Modbus TCP/IP

Commissoning
TBT has a test bench with four independent three-phase sources and tie breakers between each source. We can configure your equipment and bench test it. Our test setup permits us to verify most sequencing configurations
Utilizing remote computer connections, TBT can assist your shop or field technicians with factory testing or site commissioning.
At this time, TBT does not have field technicians.
